“And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men.” Colossians 3:23
There are going to be times in your life when you are asked to do something that you don’t want to do. It could be cleaning the bathroom at work or scrubbing the floor at home or any of a number of tasks. Your initial reaction will be something like, “no way – that’s beneath me”. When you feel this way, you need to remember that if it wasn’t beneath God to become flesh and bear the punishment for your sin, no task at work or at home is too menial for you.
Oh yeah, there’s just one more thing. It’s not enough to just do the task at hand, you should do it to the best of your ability and with joy. That means no complaining (out loud or in your head!) and no cutting corners.
